The real goal is to understand what is holding you back, rebuild what your body needs, and return to your sport, training, or active life with confidence.

Pain can improve before your body is prepared for everything you want it to do.
You may be able to get through everyday activities while still feeling uncertain about running, lifting, competing, returning to work, or training at the level you expect from yourself. You may have rested, modified your activity, completed physical therapy, or tried exercises on your own, only to find that the problem returns when you increase the demand.
That often happens when recovery efforts end before strength, mobility, physical capacity, and confidence have been fully rebuilt.
You do not simply need to feel better.
You need your body to be ready for what you're asking it to do.

Everyday Athlete combined sports and orthopedic physical therapy with strength and conditioning to address the problem in front of you while preparing your body for the activities ahead of you.
The process is designed for athletes and active adults who want more than temporary symptom relief or a return to basic daily function. It's built for people who want to understand the problem, correct the factors contributing to it, and return to meaningful activity with confidence.
Your care is guided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is board-certified in both orthopedic and sports physical therapy and brings more than 25 years of athletic strength and conditioning experience to the rehabilitation process.
Step 1: Understand the Problem
Step 2: Resolve and Rebuild
Step 3: Stay Ready
Pain-to-Performance Assessment
Pain-to-Performance Intensive
Performance Edge
Identify what is limiting you, determine what your activities require, and establish the right plan for moving forward.
Address the pain and its contributing factors while rebuilding the strength, mobility, and physical capacity required for confident performance.
Maintain your progress, address concerns before they become significant setbacks, and continue developing the capacity to perform at your best.
Insurance can make physical therapy more affordable, and an in-network clinic may provide exactly what some people need. However, insurance coverage is generally based on medical necessity, covered services, and restoring functional ability (getting dressed, brushing your hair, getting in/out of your car, performing work tasks). It is not necessarily designed to support the complete journey from pain or injury back to demanding sport, training, or performance.
Everyday Athlete is built around a different finish line.
The goal is not simply to help you become functional enough to conclude treatment. We want to help you understand the problem and solve the root causes, rebuild the physical qualities your activities demand, return with confidence, and perform better than you ever have before.
Covered services and insurance plan limitations
Authorized visits
Medical necessity requirements
Goals centered on everyday function
Discharge once covered care is no longer considered necessary
Your specific problems and goals
The physical demands of your sport, training, work, or other activities
A plan that progresses from pain relief through restored physical capacity
Objective progress rather than a predetermined number of visits
A complete return to confident performance
Everyday Athlete will not be the right choice for everyone, and that's OK. If your primary goal is to minimize your immediate out-of-pocket expense and your insurance covers the care you need, an in-network clinic may be the appropriate choice.
Everyday Athlete is designed for people who are prepared to invest in a more personalized and complete path from pain to performance.
Every client begins with a Pain-to-Performance Assessment. This produces the information needed for us to provide the best recommendations possible, and create a clear path to pain-free performance.
Understand the problem. Know what needs to change.
The Pain-to-Performance Assessment is a comprehensive physical therapy and performance evaluation designed to identify what is limiting you and determine what will be required to reach your goals.
Your Assessment considers:
Your current pain, injury, or physical limitation
Your health and injury history
Your movement, mobility, strength, and physical capacity
The demands of your sport, training, work, or active lifestyle
The root-cause factors behind your problem
The treatment approach and level of support you need to reach your goals
You will leave with a clearer understanding of the problem, what needs to happen next, and the type of care that is most appropriate for you.
If continued care is recommended, the findings from your Assessment will be used to create your personalized Performance Blueprint.
Pain-to-Performance Assessment: $499
You shouldn't have to keep modifying the activities you care about, wondering whether the pain will return, or accepting a lower level of performance because your recovery stopped too soon.
The right process can help you:
Understand what has been holding you back
Move without constantly monitoring the problem
Rebuild strength, mobility, and physical capacity
Return to sport or training through a clear progression
Trust your body again
Maintain the progress you worked to achieve
Everyday Athlete is designed for athletes and active adults who:
Take their health and performance seriously
Want to address the root cause of the problem rather than repeatedly manage symptoms
Are prepared to participate consistently in the recovery process
Want to return to more than basic daily function
Value personalized guidance and measurable progress
Are willing to invest in a complete path back to performance
If your primary priority is finding the lowest-cost care available through your insurance, Everyday Athlete may not be the right fit.
If your priority is receiving a personalized plan built around the activities and level of performance that matter to you, the first step is a Pain-to-Performance Assessment.
Everyday Athlete is out-of-network with all major insurances. This allows recommendations and services to be based on your goals and what is needed to achieve them rather than the services or number of visits an insurance company authorizes.
This doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot use your insurance to help cover the cost of your care, though. If your insurance plan provides for out-of-network coverage of physical therapy services, we are happy to provide you with the required information to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Reimbursement rates vary based on your specific plan and coverage, and are not determined in any way by Everyday Athlete Sports Physical Therapy + Performance.
